Kefraya A small community on the mount of Tourbol northwest to Zgharta. It is effected by the high rate of emigration among its citizens. Kifraya has the highest rate of emigration among its neighboring villages. In 1998 there were 170 rgistered persons in the official citizens records, half of them are emigrants and some had cut their relations with their motherland although their names are still in the records. (list below) The elected Mukhtar is Youssef Doumit Bou Abdallah. The names of some emigrants from Kefraya that did not report back but still have their names on the official citizens records and the record number.

Hilan Hilan: (also known as Halan) 6 Km northeast of Zgharta. Hilan counted 13 males in 1849 living in 3 houses. These figures increased to become 215 males in 1906. In 1988 there were 1725 registered persons and in 1998 it counted 2009 registered. The Christian community in this village has an emigration rate of nearly 75%. Below is a list of emigrants from Hilan that didn’t report back.
Education: a public school was established in 1954 and is still active today. The elected Mukhtar is Abboud Khodr Shamma. The names of some emigrants from Hilan that did not report back but still have their names on the official citizens records and the record number.
